100% Grass Fed Dairy Cows
Followers of our farm blog, podcast and Facebook pages know that we operate one of the few 100% grass fed dairies in the country. The reason for this is because we're not chasing high milk volumes but rather we're chasing biological sustainability. To us that means buying NO FEED and letting the cows harvest the grass themselves. The reward to us is creamy milk from cows that graze organic pastures.
Doesn't that sound wonderful? Now you can have some of these genetics for yourself. Occasionally we have dairy cows for sale that have bred out of sync for us since we're attempting to get all cows breeding at the same time. When we do, the cows will be listed on this page and are available, first come, first serve. If nothing is listed, nothing is available. We will also announce availabiity via email and our Facebook page, so be sure to sign up and follow us.
Since we're homesteaders at heart and started as homesteaders, ALL of our cows are gentle and perfect for hand milking.
