Heritage Turkeys

Bourbon Red, White Holland, Black Spanish and Standard Bronze turkeys (see the Slow Food Ark of Taste) enjoy their lives free-ranging in the pasture. Movable fencing allows us to bring our turkeys into areas that have a high insect or weed population, or into the orchard, giving them protein and the nutrients they want and helping us to fertilize and improve the soil.

Visitors to Nature's Harmony Farm can enjoy the friendly personalities of our turkeys. Turkeys never fail to entertain with their wide assortment of sounds! As with our other poultry, the turkeys receive antibiotic and hormone free feed containing no animal byproducts. They thrive in their natural environment, producing a turkey that is reminiscent of times gone by.

We strongly recommend that you order our turkeys very early.  Like most farmers, we sell out every year, and we hate to disappoint anyone.

Prices for heritage turkeys will remain unchanged at $7.00 per pound in 2010, and must be picked up on farm in November, 2010.
