Organically Raised, Georgia Grassfed Beef
Just as cows have been trained to eat grain, we consumers have been trained that cornfed beef is better than grassfed. Well it's absolutely not true! Naturally much lower in fat and lower in calories than grainfed beef, grassfed beef is also tender and delicious! And, while grassfed beef is low in saturated fat, it contains two to six times MORE omega-3 essential fatty acids, which play a vital role in overall health and well-being. Grassfed beef is also higher in cancer-fighting Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLAs), Vitamin E, and Beta Carotene.
At Nature's Harmony Farm we produce beef from Murray Grey cows and from crossing a Murray Grey bull to our Jersey milk cows. On average, our cows give birth to about 30 calves per year that will become grassfed beef for our customers. While the primary focus of our farm is dairy and handcrafted raw-milk cheese, we email customers when our beef is ready, so be sure you're on our email list.
