Restaurant and Retail Inquiries
If you are represent a restaurant or retail establishment within service area of our farm and are interested in our naturally raised products, then we would be happy to discuss that with you. However, let us first reiterate some of our values, as this directly impacts whether or not Nature's Harmony Farm would be a good match with your goals. Indeed, we choose to work with very few restaurants.
- We are not interested in being a "marketing ploy" on your menu. We are interested...very interested...in working with chefs and establishments that demonstrate a real commitment to what we care about; namely, heritage breeds, natural rearing and local sources.
- We carefully and lovingly raise a variety of animals in very natural settings. The cost to do this is the same whether we sell to a single restaurant or if we sell to a family. As a result, there is no wholesale pricing. By using the entire animal you should be able to do fine with that, which brings up the next point.
- We respect the entire animal and hope that you do as well. As a result, we sell whole chickens and poultry, and often sell non-prime beef, lamb and pork cuts such as organs, heads, trotters, etc. We believe that it is fine chefs and establishments such as yours that can increase consumer awareness about what can be accomplished with these nutrient dense cuts.
- Our seasonal offerings change, and your menu would need to accomodate that. For example, we do not raise chickens on pasture in the winter, as they do not grow well then. Our egg yolks are quite different in May than they are in December, and eggs are more plentiful in the spring and summer than they are in the winter. We offer lamb between October and January, but not the rest of the year. These facts simply mirror the natural cycle of life on the farm. We do, however, have a consistent supply of pork and an intermittent supply of grass-fed beef.
- We're interested in long-term commitments and generally cannot meet one-time or incremental requests. The nature of our farm is that we do not over produce and carry an inventory. If we can work with you, we'll want to develop a production plan so that we can raise and harvest what you need for your menu. You'll be able to depend on us and we need to be able to depend on you.
Having said this, if your values are in alignment with ours, we would be thrilled to speak with you. Simply complete this form and let's talk.
